Awkwardstra Geelong
Awkwardstra Geelong is a welcoming community orchestra open to everyone aged 17 and over. We believe music should be accessible, so there are no barriers to joining:
- All orchestral musicians are welcome, no matter your experience level
- There are no limits on instruments or sections
- No auditions required—just come along and play

2026 Concert Announced!
Awkwardstra Geelong is excited to announce our 2026 concert: Awkwardstra Geelong - More Than Music.
The concert will be held at the Story House at Geelong Arts Centre on October 17th @ 7:30pm. Hosted by Geelong celebrity, Natalie O'Donnell and conducted by our very own Joel Carnegie, it promises to be a big night of toe-tapping, infectious music, orchestral bangers and commissioned originals.
